Shyam Metalics Inaugurates Fire Service Unit
Shyam Metalics, a renowned metal manufacturing conglomerate, has inaugurated a Fire Service Unit in an effort to reinforce the security measures at the plant and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit inaugurated on 20th July 2022 in Jamuria aims to protect life and property during emergency fire situations in and around the plant.
An overview of the initiative:
Shyam Metalics, as a part of its CSR program, inaugurated a Fire Service Unit at Jamuria on 20th July 2022. The main objective of this initiative is to reduce fire-related hazards in the plant and its adjoining areas by providing quick service during emergency fire situations.
The unit was inaugurated by Sri. Hareram Singh (MLA Jamuria Constituency) and Sri. Sumit Chakraborty ( Director, SSPL). Sri. Alok Mishra (Factory Manager), Shri G. Satyanarayan Naidu (Plant Head – Mangalpur), Sri. S.K Shandar (Ex Buro Chairman), Smt. Renuka Bauri (Sah Sabhapti, Bahadurpur), Sri. Tapas Chakraborty (District Council Speaker), Sri.Ajay Khaitan, Sri. Pawan Mandia and HODs of all the departments were present in this program.
People in the area were extremely delighted by this initiative and appreciated the efforts taken by Shyam Metalics to ensure better security.
Fire-related accidents in the plant pose a common threat to the workers, residents of the neighborhood and the plant’s assets. In order to attend to such emergency situations and to significantly reduce the risk rate, Shyam Metalics has taken a step forward. This thoughtful initiative will be beneficial to the plant and the community residing in the adjacent areas.
